Winter Wonderlands Of the Sky
Our multi-tallanted Estate Manager, Aslyn Dufaux has created one of those special little places in Second Life. You know the type… A little hidden corner of the grid that brings a smile to your face and reminds you of the magic of Second Life. Her little spot is the Winter Wonderland of the bel Niche.
She’s invited all of our residents here in the bel estate to bring their friends and family to enjoy ice skating, snowball throwing, dancing on the frozen pond and a cozy chat in the cabin. The BLIZZARD of a snowfall needs special mention as well. I mean it’s SNOWING like a Northern Michigan storm out there… All of these festivities can be found here at around 700m up in the air
Stop by to stay for a while or just pop in to see the amazing snow! You can play around with the sun a bit, too. Sunset and midnight look the best. You can force Sunset and most importnatly midnight by going to: World>Environment Settings to choose your time of day. Try it today!

P.S. If you’ve created your own winter-themed place that you would like others to come see and enjoy, you can IM the SLURL to Lefty or Aslyn and we can start a public list ont he blog.

WOW!!! Those are really great! I can’t wait to check them out for myself. I have a suggestion though. You should talk to that crazy web designer of yours and have them install some sort of fancy pants lightbox pop-up for photos or something.. That way I don’t have to hit the back button.
Just a suggestion.
Thanks for posting these!! I can’t wait for MY Northern Michigan winter
Our loony web designer has promised to put lightbox into effect for us! Cara Jo is the COOLEST Web Designer :))
I gotta come take some photos. This is a beautiful blog, supporting beautiful Second Life content. Ooh, nice textures on the comment box!
Thank you for posting picts of my little slice of winter, Lefty! I hope that you all enjoyed that place as much as I did :o)
Saddly had to take it down for the end of season, but hope to see it again really soon. I do hope that everyone had a happy holiday season!
